Cups wind speed sensors

*Aluminum made, protected by polyurethane paint
*1% accuracy
*Every wind speed sensor has, on the basis of its geometry, different responses on each point of its measurement range; the internal microprocessor adjusts the signal linearity at any wind speed value, obtaining a precise measurement
*Very low threshold: 0,25 m/s

*Models with analogue output 0/4-20 mA, 0-5 Vdc, or direct output in Hz to be connected to LSI-LASTEM data acquisition systems
*Heated versions, keeps the rotor moving effectively in case of freezing.

Vane wind direction sensor

*Models with wirewound low-torque (2000 Ohm) potentiometer (0-355°) or Encoder 10 bit
*Programmable output as instantaneous value or trogonometric average over a “n” number of samples (only on Encoder models).

*Aluminum made, protected by polyurethane paint
*Heated versions, keeps the rotor moving effectively in case of freezing.

*1% accuracy on the wind speed.
*Every wind speed sensor has, on the basis of its geometry, different responses on each point of its measurement range; the internal microprocessor adjusts the signal linearity at any wind speed value, obtaining a precise measurement.

2 or 3 axis ultra-sonic wind sensor

*High intrinsic strength. *Possibility to measure vertical wind.
*Dinamic range of measurement which covers for o to 60 m/s with 0,01 resolution.
*Low sensibility to uncleanliness factors, snow and frost.

*The solution of the moving parts problem as seen with the traditional sensors.

Rain gauge

*333 o 1000 cmq in let area. *0,2 mm/tip (opz. 0,1-0,3, 0,4, 0,5 mm/tip) resolution.
*thermostatic heated models ensure complete melting of snow, even at extreme temperature.
*stainless steel housing, whilst the cone in teflonate brass.

*Models equipped with a siphon placed on the cone’s nozzle, in order to avoid the following: during light rain the drizzle falls on the bascule without moving it and therefore evaporates without being measured; during heavy rain, it regulates the flow into the bascule permitting all the water to fall inside.

Presence of rain, presence of wetness sensors

*The rain presence sensor discriminate between pluviometric rainfall and condensation.
*The wet presence sensor, detect the presence of water irrespective of the source.

*N.2 outputs available: Output N.1: 100 mV ± 0,02: present - 200 mV ± 0,02: absent Output N.2 Open collector 100 mA 40 Vmax.

Global radiometers

*Sensors to measure wide spectral band (305-2800 nm) called as “global radiation”.
*Models with thermopile or photovoltaic measurement system.
*Thermopile to ISO secondary standard.

Sunshine duration and direct radiation sensor

*Sensor measures direct radiation from the sun and the sunshine status, defined as present when direct radiation is above 120 Wm².

*A sensors detect the illumination from a 90º section of the sky which has the location’s equinoctial line as its equator. A rotating band periodically intercepts the sunbeam. For each rotation, the instrument determines the two radiation levels: with and without the direct action of the sun disc, and calculates the difference, which gives a good approximation to the direct radiation level.

Net radiometer

*Are sensors for measuring net radiation, i.e. the difference between that arriving directly from the sky and reflected short wave and re-emitted long wave radiation from the ground.
*Models with direct output (microVolt) or analogue output 0/4-20 mA, 0-5 Vdc.
